I was very happy when they announced recently that Timothy Olyphant is returning as Raylan Givens in a new limited series. Justified is one of my favorite shows and the quote above is one that I will never forget. It’s funny. It’s a great scene. It’s true.

I think it is important for people to be aware that the way they go through their day affects how their day goes. Yes, we all run into an asshole here and there throughout the day. If you work with the public you will likely run into more than one. But, if looking back on your day you see that every interaction was like that, there is a strong possibility you are the problem.

It’s easy to blame a bad day on everyone else. I have done that. At the end of a bad day, it is a good idea to do some introspection and consider if you were the asshole.
