You made an interesting point yesterday saying that critics didn’t understand Ted lasso. How often do we think critics are “right” about what they’re critiquing?

Not often. I think critics tend to forget how “real” people are watching or reading.
My favorite example of this is one critic who reviewed a comedy and mentioned in the review that they laughed out a lot during the movie, but didn’t give it a good review score for to other things it didn’t do. They forgot that a comedy is supposed to make you laugh. Did you laugh? Isnt that the point?
