The World's Common Tater

The week ended on a sad note as I got word Friday night that one of the goats at the farm died. So, it is a good thing that I am looking for the good today. I need it.

1. More mornings drinking free coffee and reading at Panera.
2. Free coffee at Royal Farms after a rainy work day at the farm.
3. I had my community book club Thursday night, so I got out of the house and talked to people.
4. The new person on staff at MTR has done little things to make me feel more included in life at the farm.
5. I got over feeling awkward and told her I appreciated those little things.
6. I felt even more appreciatated when the facilities manager called me Friday night to tell me about Nernard the goat instead of me finding out when they sent the message to everyone.
7. I stopped in to visit with Bernard Friday morning not knowing it would be the last time. I’m glad the rain meant they were in their enclosure and it was easier to visit.
8. I had a relatively relaxing Saturday instead of spending it trying to get things done.
