Call Me, Maybe? No, Thank You

I’ve mentioned a couple of times that the wheel came off of my lawn mower. Unfortunately, the fix has not been as easy as I hoped.

I can’t get the mower repair person I’ve used to call me back.

I finally took my neighbor up on his offer to take a look for me. He says if I can get the replacement wheels he can fix it. I looked online and could not find them anywhere.

Now. I have to call Kobalt this morning to ask about replacements.

I hate making phone calls. I hate talking on the phone. Phone calls can really ramp up my anxiety.

I don’t know why, but I’ve always hated it.

Having a degree in communications doesn’t help.

A year working in market research and making phone calls for a living didn’t help. I had a script to read there.

Working in a public library and answering calls there didn’t help. Answering calls is much easier than making calls.

At least the place opens early and by the time this publishes I should be done with the call and I can move on with my day.

This mower business has stressed me out. I’ve had to do the two things I hate to do:

  1. Ask someone for help
  2. Make phone calls

I just want to mow my lawn without the need to involve other people
