It was a continuation of my high anxiety/low mood stretch. My wife is still out of state. Kentucky lost Friday night. Church shopping is stressful. It’s cold again. Time to see if I can find the good.
- One last free birthday treat. Free chicken and fries from Royal Farms.
- A surprise free pastry from Starbucks.
- $1 off and free coffee at Panera meant a bagel and coffee for 60 cents.
- It was break week at the barn so, besides the medicine, it was an easy week there.
- My daughter didn’t have class Wednesday night so we were able to watch Survivor live.
- I used the alone time to take some needed breaks to read and watch TV.
- My son spent one night here this week.
- Having my daughter living at home meant I mustered the energy to cook real meals this week. If I was alone it would have been a week of sandwiches or cereal for dinners.
- We did not get the big storms that knocked power out in Kentucky.
That’s all I’ve got for this week. Hope yours was a good one.
Good thing you didn’t get the storm! That’s something to be thankful about.

My MIL didn’t have power for 4 days. I’m thankful we didn’t have to deal with it
