It was a quiet week. My wife was out of town for work and my daughter is back in school two nights a week. Here is the good I can remember.
- The whiny Bengals were eliminated from the playoffs
- The ALA Youth Media Awards were announced Monday morning and my new schedule meant I was home to watch it.
- We finally got a little bit of snow this week. It was barely enough to count, but the ground was white Wednesday morning.
- Two relaxing mornings drinking coffee and reading at Panera.
- Two Kentucky basketball wins this week.
- My birthday freebies have started to arrive.
- More alone time meant more reading time this week.
- Several shows I like were renewed this week.
- My barn shifts were all done before the extreme cold moved in.
- My application to be a substitute teacher has moved on from HR to the school. I should know something one way or another soon.
That’s all I’ve got for this week. Hope yours was a good one.
Your application is moving quickly through the system, a good thing.

Glad to hear your application is on the move. That Florida game got too close at the end, but the Wildcats held on and continue to move in the right direction as well.

Yeah. For a minute I thought I could finally have a relaxing end to a game.
