What’s Good in Tater Town 1/29/23

Another week is gone. We are almost to February which means we are inching closer and closer to spring. Here is the good I can remember from the week.

  1. My new schedule meant drinking coffee and reading at Panera Monday morning instead of working in the damp weather.
  2. The change also means one more day a week when I can sleep past 5 AM.
  3. I’ve slept more this week than I have in a long time.
  4. My son was here for dinner Wednesday night. He did his laundry here since his washer is broken so it was a longer visit than usual.
  5. I sent in my resume for the substitute teaching job. It might not lead to an actual job, but I had been putting it off and it was a relief to get it done.
  6. I had book club Thursday night so I got out of the house and talked to people outside of the barn.
  7. My original book club met Friday night. It was good to see friends I had not seen in months.
  8. We met at a local brewery that was less than 10 minutes from my house. A bonus for me since they all live in the same town and 30 minutes from me.
  9. I finished three books this week. It was good to get back to reading more.

That’s all I’ve got for this week. Hope yours was a good one.
