What’s Good in Tater Town 12/18/22

I’m on day 5 home alone with 3 more to go after today. I’m stressed about possible winter weather on my drive day. It’s a good time to find the good.

  1. My son was home for dinner Monday night.
  2. After dinner, we went to look at Christmas lights.
  3. My daughter and I stopped for milkshakes on the way home.
  4. My daughter was home to watch one of the two World Cup semifinals with me.
  5. My driver’s license renewal appointment Wednesday morning only took 10 minutes.
  6. The appointment, two library stops, and the World Cup game helped fill my time on my first day home alone.
  7. My wife and daughter made it to Kentucky safely.
  8. I didn’t have to leave the house on the cold, rainy Thursday.
  9. I had a free Red Robin hamburger to use for dinner Friday night.
  10. I forced myself out of the house for coffee at Panera, the local farmer’s market, and the library yesterday morning.
  11. Football and basketball on TV all day. The games didn’t go well for me, but it was a good distraction.

That’s my week. Hope yours was a good one.
