What’s Good in Tater Town 8/7/22

It was another rather uneventful week. The rest of this month will be that way. We do have a few things planned in September and then the holiday anticipation can start. Let’s see if I can remember the good.

  1. Another Dunkin cold brew and 100 bonus points on Monday.
  2. The 100 points gave me another free drink.
  3. My daughter working full time this month helped me settle into a sort of a routine.
  4. She still gets home early enough for us to have an hour or two of watching 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown while my wife is still working.
  5. My wife went to the office one day this week so I had one day of an empty house. That helped with cleaning and resting.
  6. I did a food delivery for church while the regular person was on vacation so I had one more day with a reason to leave the house.
  7. I still have enough points at Royal Farms for free coffee for several more weeks.
  8. Charging issues with my iPhone sent me out to a mall for the first time in a long time. It was nice to see a mall that still seems to be thriving.
  9. The problem was caused by debris in the charging port, so it was a fast, free fix.
  10. After one evening of almost three inches of rain, the storms have missed us the last few days

That’s all I can remember. Hope your week was a good one.

  1. I had the charging port problem before as well – try to keep that clean at all times now. I think I’m totally committed to the cold brew/cold foam/caramel experience at Dunkin. I doubt I’ll return to hot coffee until it starts to get cold again…if that even happens. We could use a three inch rain right now, but not as much as other parts of the world who have it really bad.
