Tater on TV: CBS Announces Fall Schedule

CBS has done me a favor and released their schedule early enough for me to write about it before I leave for the day. Here we go.

Friday

8pm – SWAT

9pm – Fire Country – Seeking redemption and a shortened sentence, young convict Bode Donovan, played by Max Theriot, joins a prison firefighting program that returns him to his hometown where he works alongside elite firefighters to battle massive fires across the region.

10pm – Blue Bloods

Saturday

8pm – Drama Encores

9pm – Drama Encores

10pm – 48 Hours

Sunday

Tater’s Thoughts

Not much change here. The Monday and Tuesday lineups are the same as last year. SWAT moves back to Fridays. Survivor still anchors Wednesday.

I am happy to see Amazing Race back on Wednesday with Survivor. It’s probably smart to do another reality show at 10 instead of a scripted show.

I like Sean Astin and Marcia Gay Harden, so I will be watching So Help Me Todd.

I think Fire Country could be good. I like Max Theriot in Seal Team.

I’m not sure about East New York, but Richard Kind is in the cast, so that’s a bonus.

It seems like East New York fits better with SWAT and Blue Bloods than Fire Country.

Very happy that Ghosts is back.

  1. So Help Me Todd, Fire Country, and East New York intrigue me. I’m glad Ghosts is back too, though I have one or two episodes from the first season waiting for me. I’ve been putting it off, but I think I’ll try to finish it soon.
