Alone Again, Naturally, Again

The above title was brought to you by the Department of Redundancy Department and the fact that I used the title Alone Again, Naturally in December.

My wife has been approved to travel domestically again for work. She left yesterday for Texas and will be away for at least part of the next three weeks.

It coincided with this week with the one Tuesday the barn shifts were full and I could not schedule myself to work.

The also coincides with my constant state of never seeing any other humans besides my wife, people walking past me when I walk, and the people at the barn.

My first thought was that I would head out today for some sort of day trip, but then I thought about how this is the first of many days alone. I need to save activities for later when I am tired of being alone.

Day one is a good day to relax, read, and maybe take a walk at the nature preserve.

Tomorrow I will do yard work.

I have library trips planned for Wednesday.

I will do some planning today and tomorrow for a place to go for a day trip middle of next week when I need to be out of the house.

I should probably look into acquiring some friends.

      1. I’m also getting to know people through book club in our neighborhood and our morning walks. We got invited to a neighbor’s house for a party last night after talking to them out walking.
