Tater on TV: What’s on Tonight 2/9/22

Another night with a decent amount of non-Olympic programming.

8pm – Jeopardy College Championships

9pm – The Chase – I’m amused by the people who complain about the chasers being rude to the contestants. That’s part of the premise. Just don’t watch if you don’t like it.

10pm – The Chase

8pm – Celebrity Big Brother

9pm – Amazing Race

10pm – NCIS – a repeat episode

Repeats of Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman

8pm – I Can See Your Voice

9pm – Next Level Chef

8pm – Olympics – Women’s halfpipe final, men’s short track final, men’s free skate in figure skating

Various Non-Streaming Options

Nature is on PBS at 8 followed by NOVA at 9.

The First 48 is on A & E at 9.

Tyler Perry’s Sistas is on BET at 9 followed by Real Husbands of Hollywood at 10, First Wives Cub at 10:30, and Bigger at 11.

Relatively Famous: Ranch Rules is on E followed by Paris in Love at 9

Worst Cooks in America is on Food Network at 9.

Property Brothers: Forever Home is on HGTV at 8 followed by Home Inspector Joe at 9, House Hunters at 10 and 10:30, and Moving For Love at 11.

Fixer Upper: Welcome Home is on Magnolia at 9.

Resident Alien is on Syfy at 9 followed by Astrid & Lilly Save the World at 10.

More Olympic coverage is on USA all day.

Tater’s Thoughts

My wife does not care about the Jeopardy College Championships so I will be watching it the next morning.

We love The Chase, but I won’t watch until my daughter is home.

I still love The Amazing Race. I’m glad it is back. It’s interesting to see the small changes they made due to Covid. They all fly together on a private plane, they do a lot more outdoor challenges, and there is more driving themselves and fewer cabs.

I watch Resident Alien and Astrid & Lilly. Syfy has some pretty good original programming.

I will try to watch the women’s halfpipe finals tonight.
