Tater on TV: What’s on Tonight 1/6/22

We continue with light TV schedules as networks don’t want to compete with the Olympics.

Repeats of America’s Funniest Home Videos, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Supermarket Sweep, and The Rookie.

7pm – 60 Minutes

8pm – Celebrity Big Brother

These are followed by repeats of The Equalizer and SWAT

8pm – March – a repeat episode

9pm – Two Sentence Horror Stories

9:30pm – Two Sentence Horror Stories

Repeats of The Simpsons, The Great North, Bob’s Burgers, and Family Guy.

8pm – Olympic Coverage – pairs free skate, free dance, and women’s free skate in figure skating. Men’s luge. Women’s big air in freestyle skiing.

Various Non-Streaming Options

Around the World in 80 Days is on PBS at 8 followed by All Creatures Great and Small at 9 and Vienna Blood at 10.

More Olympic coverage on USA.

The series finale of Claws is on TNT at 9.

Dirty Jobs is on Discovery at 9.

The season finale of Guy’s Chance of the Lifetime is on Food Network at 9.

Home Town is on HGTV at 8.

Family Dinner is on Magnolia at 8.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is on Bravo at 9.

The Walking Dead: Origins is on AMC at 9. Tonight is Carol’s Story.

Tater’s Thoughts

We will likely spend any TV time today watching the Olympics. I’m a little surprised other networks don’t counterprogram more. I would think there are plenty of people out there who want to watch anything but the Olympics.
