I’m Tired 2022 Edition

I had another post in mind for today, but I’m having trouble gathering my thoughts to write it. I’m physically and mentally exhausted.

As I mentioned in my TV post, we had around 10 inches of snow yesterday. It was nice watching the snowfall. I do enjoy a good snow. I don’t enjoy shoveling 10 inches of snow off my driveway. It’s exhausting.

I didn’t sleep well last night. I started waking up off and on around 3 AM.

My dog is back on her normal scehdule of waking me up between 4 and 5 AM to go out.

I made the mistake of deciding to stay up instead of trying to sleep more.

Ir was cold and dark for hours after I was awake.

I still have to clear snow off and around my car today in hope the sun will melt away the remnants.

The news is full of all Covis all the time again.

The govenor just said he wil announce further emergency Covid actions at 10 AM today.

I’m worried my daughter’s last semester of college will be virtual after getting to have a normal one in the fall.

It’s a lot. I’m tired.

I think I’m more tired now because I got a glimpse of normal over the holidays when we were able to have a more normal visit with family this year. It was a good week.

Now the real world is back and the real world is not fun.

I know WordPress is posting daily writing prompts this month, I might take a look at today’s later to see if it will spark some writing in me.

In the meantime, you can read my post on reading goals over on Medium.

  1. Beautiful post here Friend. Through the hustle and bustle of life, we end up getting worn out. For stress, I recommend a few things. First, start by putting God first, and begin your day with a prayer to God and a heart for God. God is able to orchestrate several things and he can use divine assistance to make our day easier. Second, we need to treat our body like a temple. Energy giving foods are a great resource. Thirdly, we need to take little breaks every now and then to refresh.

The most important of these is God. When things get tough, we can always reach out to him for help.

The Bible says in Philippians 4:6
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God”.

    God says in Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.

If anyone reading is interested in building a relationship with God, I have a post on that here: https://christcenteredruminations.wordpress.com/2018/08/29/how-to-build-a-relationship-with-god/

There is much more to know about God. I post frequently on my blog about topics related to God. You are welcome to follow my blog to keep up with my content. See my blog here: https://christcenteredruminations.wordpress.com/

-All the best. May God bless you.
