Tater on TV: What’s on Tonight 12/7/21

I’m currently watching my first Hallmark Christmas movie while I drink my coffee and write this. I think I will make this a morning habit the rest of the month. It’s much better than the news.

8pm – Live in Front of a Studio Audience – this time they are doing Different Strokes and Facts of Life. It’s a weird cast with adult actors playing the kids. Kevin Hart is Arnold. I am recording it as it sounds interestingly weird.

9:30pm – Abbott Elementary – a sneak preview of a workplace comedy about Philadelphia public school teachers.

10pm – Queens

8pm – FBI

9pm – FBI: International

10pm – FBI: Most Wanted

8pm – Flash

9pm – Riverdale

8pm – The Resident

9pm – Our Kind of People

8pm – The Voice

9pm – People’s Choice Awards – Kenan Thompson hosts.

Various Non-Streaming Options

Storage Wars is on A & E at 9 and 9:30 followed by Shipping Wars at 10 and 10:30.

Finding Bigfoot: Uncovered is on Animal Planet at 8.

Tyler Perry’s House of Payne is on BET at 8 followed by Assisted Living at 8:30, The Oval at 9, and Games People Play at 10.

Vanderpump Rules is on Bravo at 8 and 9.

Beat Bobby Flay is on Food Network at 9.

Fixer to Fabulous is on HGTV at 8 and 9 followed by House Hunters at 10.

The Curse of Oak Island: Digging Deeper is on History at 8 followed by The Curse of Oak Island at 9 and Great Escapes with Morgan Freeman at 10.

The Last OG is on TBS at 10:30.

Tater’s Thoughts

I will be watching the Kentucky basketball game from 7-9.

As I said above, I will record the Live in Front of a Studio Audience to watch later. I feel like it could be terrible.

I will watch Abbott Elementary and maybe write a review tomorrow.

I’ve given up on all but the original FBI.

I’m still watching Flash. I think it will get boring again after this five-episode event.

The Resident is once again my favorite medical show.

  1. I’ve seen the ads for Live in Front and find it an extremely weird concept. I’m going to take a pass on it. I might record Abbott Elementary so I can watch it if it passes muster with you. I haven’t started watching all my recorded shows. I should.

  2. I heard about the Different Strokes and Facts of Life “special” on the drive in to work. I want to check it out. Last night, I tuned into the boy band special and the local station took over and had a football game on instead. womp womp
