Tater on TV: What’s on Tonight 11/30/21

I could barely stay awake to watch a basketball game that started at 7 last night. I guess when you combine a late night, an early wake-up, and physical labor outdoors in the cold it takes a toll. Maybe I can get a nap today.

ABC

8pm – The Bachelorette

10pm Superstar: George Michael – I was always a fan of his, but now I can’t hear his music without thinking of the show Eli Stone.

CBS

The entire lineup is repeats. FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted.

CW

8pm – Flash – Black Lightning appears as the 5 episode “event” continues.

9pm – Riverdale – apparently also doing a horror-themed 5 episode “event”

FOX

8pm – The Resident

9pm – Our Kind of People

NBC

8pm – The Voice

9pm – La Brea – The season finale. Probably a good idea to do short seasons for a show like this. Curious to see where it goes for season 2.

10pm – New Amsterdam – a repeat episode

Tater’s Thoughts

We still enjoy The Resident. I’m a sucker for hosiptal shows.

I’m still watching Flash but I think they need to end it after this season.

La Brea is ridiculous, but in a good way.

The Chucky series is better than I expected.

  1. La Brea would have made a decent movie. My wife likes the show, but me not so much. The sets look as if children designed them. Cave men are supposed to be clean shaven and their homes were built by Fred Flintstone Inc. Like you said; ridiculous.

    1. I just read an article where the creator said he made a decision to not care about little things like clothes and such that make no sense . He decided the big story was more important and enjoys the talk online about the ridiculous things

      1. I’ve been to the tar pits in LA. I was impressed. The Californians pronounce it “La-Bray,” but they talk surfer and valley girl language out there and you can’t understand half of what they say. Sounds like the creator is in on the joke.
