Tater on TV: What’s on Tonight 11/8/21

My daughter was home for dinner last night and told me I could delete 20 hours worth of HGTV shows she had recorded. My DVR is much happier now. That’s good since my disrupted sleep schedule means I can barely stay awake to watch shows at night anymore. Now. the lineup.

ABC

8pm – Dancing With the Stars

10pm – Backstage Pass: Countdown to the CMA Awards

CBS

8pm – Neighborhood

8:30pm – Bob Hearts Abishola

9pm – NCIS

10pm – NCIS: Hawaii

CW

8pm – All American

9pm – 4400 – the ratings are not looking good for this one.

FOX

8pm – 911

9pm – The Big Leap

NBC

8pm – The Voice – the start of the live shows

10pm – The Lost Symbol – this is a Peacock show. I don’t know if they intend to show the rest of the season on NBC.

Various Non-Streaming Options

Hoarders is on A & E at 8 followed by Intervention at 10.

Below Deck is on Bravo at 8 and 9.

Monday Night Football is on ESPN at 8.

Holiday Baking Championship is on Food Network at 8. The Big Bake follows at 11.

Love It Or List It is on HGTV at 8 and 9 followed by the new show, Call the Closer, at 10.

Tater’s Thoughts

The Big Leap remains my favorite new show.

I would hate to be a person who watched the first episode of Lost Symbol only to find out you need Peacock to watch the rest.

I like 4400, but I think it risks being one of the first cancelations of the season. Being on the CW might help it last longer.

I like All American, but I’m curious how they will handle all of the main characters graduating from high school this season.
