It’s a late start for me today. I didn’t get home from the Ravens game last night until 1am. I’m very tired this morning. We will see if I have the energy to write anything else today. Here’s the lineup.
ABC
8pm – Dancing With the Stars
10pm – A Night in the Academy Museum – Laura Dern and Tom Hanks host a celebration of the launch of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
CBS
8pm – FBI
9pm – FBI: International – picked up for a full season
9pm – FBI: Most Wanted – the least wanted when it comes to which FBI I want to watch.
CW
8pm – Stargirl
9pm – Supergirl
FOX
8pm – The Resident – I hope there is a time jump. I don’t want an entire season of people being sad because a main character died.
9pm – Our Kind of People
NBC
8pm – The Voice
9pm – La Brea
10pm – New Amsterdam
Various Non-Streaming Options
Two new episodes of Vanderpump Rules on Bravo starting at 8.
A new Tyler Perry’s The Oval at 9 on BET.
A new Beat Bobby Flay on Food Network at 9 and then a new Dinner Impossible at 10. Enjoy Flay on Food Network while you can. He is leaving the network after contract negotiations broke down.
Impeachment is on FX at 10.
HGTV has a new Nate & Jeremiah at 9 and House Hunters at 10.
The series premiere of the Chucky TV show is on Syfy at 10.
Tater’s Thoughts
A blog thought – I need to enlist a creative friend to make a Tater on TV logo for me.
I will watch the new Chucky show on Syfy soon and will have a review here.
FBI: International is now my wife’s favorite of the FBI shows. I still like the original more.
As I mentioned above, The Resident killed off a main character last week. I’m hoping it doesn’t mean weeks of people being sad all the time.
We are a week behind on New Amsterdam. I’m hoping it is back to medical stories and not relationship stories.
We watched the second episode of La Brea. It was better than the first. My wife likes it so I will watch it with her.
I like both CW shows, but have to wait to watch them with my daughter.
I finally watched both episodes of La Brea last night. I don’t think I can continue. I think most of it is the commercials, even though I’m fast forwarding through them. The show isn’t compelling enough for me to put up with it. Obviously, streaming has destroyed regular TV for me. Hahahahahaha. I also watched Selling the Big Easy, which I won’t continue with. It was just meh. So I turned to the Great British Baking Show, which is a few episodes into the new season, and watched a couple of those. Much more satisfying.

We will watch the Great British Baking Show when my daughter is home. I don’t mind fast forwarding through commercials. I can do it pretty quickly

What do you think about Bobby Flay and food network parting ways? And do you think anyone actually watches these two hour specials anymore?

I don’t think either will suffer from it. Food network has a lot of talent and I’m sure some network will hite Flay soon enough if he is still looking to be on tv
