I will start with the not so good: my MIL fell Sunday and broke her arm. My wife was already planning to go see her later in the week so she left Monday morning instead. I’ve been home alone all week. Now on to the good.
- We went to the Ravens game Sunday night. Our first game since early in 2020.
- It was a very good game and the Ravens won.
- My wife made it safely to Kentucky.
- The fall TV season started Monday.
- I used the time alone to watch all the TV, relax, and read.
- I ended up getting a free meal Tuesday night when Checkers let me use both the free sandwich with a drink and the free fries with a purchase coupon in the same transaction.
- We avoided the worst of the rain that came through the area Thursday.
- After the rain, the weather turned very nice.
- A phone call from my daughter Friday morning.
- Fish fry at church Friday night meant I didn’t have to figure out what to cook for one again.
- Kentucky football was on TV last night and it was a win.
That’s a good list! I’m sorry about your MIL’s broken arm, hope it heals quickly. I also hope it wasn’t her dominant arm.

Of course. My sympathies. It’s so hard to manage with that.
