In Day 4 of the Challenge I Look For Inspiration

So, Day 4 of the challenge asks me to write about someone who inspires me. This one is also hard for me. I’ve never really looked up to people. I can’t think of a time when I looked at someone and thought “I want to be more like them.” I have aspired, and failed, to be the type of person people would look at and think “I want to be more like him.” While I don;t have a specific person in mind, there are certain thing about people I wish I had.

I see people who are comfortable in front of a crowd and wish I could be that way.  I want to be like the people who can talk to anyone and are good at mingling at social events. I want to be like the people who can ace a job interview. I want to be more like my friends who find time to go out and do fun things after work and on the weekends. I want to be more like the people who volunteer their time to help others. I guess it all boils down to “I want to be more like the best part of all the people I know”. So, I guess the answer to the question of “who inspires me” is “all of you.”

  1. I think your inspiration is perfect. No one person is perfect. However, all of us (including you) have something that we are good at and can inspire others to be better. I, for one, have been wishing this week that I was more like you, able to write something and brave enough to put it out there for the world so see.
